Subject to your compliance with this Agreement and our Terms of Service, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use Speak to Quote ("the Service") through a web browser, for your own business's quoting activity. This license doesn't transfer ownership of anything — it's permission to use a hosted service we continue to operate and control.
You agree not to:
Section 5 ("Acceptable use") of the Terms of Service sets out further conduct restrictions that apply alongside this license.
Speak to Quote, and all software, design, trademarks, and content that make up the Service (excluding your own business data and the content of your quotes), are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property law. No rights are granted to you other than the limited license in Section 1. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
You retain ownership of the business details, job descriptions, quotes, client information, and any other content you input into the Service ("your content"). This license doesn't give us ownership of your content — we process it to operate the Service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You're responsible for having the right to input any content you provide, including your customers' details.
Line items, quantities, and pricing extracted or suggested by the Service's AI feature are generated using Anthropic's Claude model based on what you dictate or type. You're free to use, edit, and send the output as part of your own quotes to your customers. As set out in the Terms of Service, this output is a starting draft, not a finished quote — we don't warrant its accuracy, and you're responsible for reviewing it before it reaches a customer.
The Service is built using third-party infrastructure and services — including Google Firebase, Anthropic's Claude, and Stripe — each licensed to us on their own terms. Nothing in this Agreement grants you any rights in those third-party services beyond what's needed to use Speak to Quote itself.
If you send us feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you agree we may use them to improve Speak to Quote without any obligation or payment to you.
The license granted under this Agreement is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, except where such warranties can't lawfully be excluded.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising from this license is limited in the same way as set out in the Terms of Service's Limitation of Liability section. Nothing here excludes or limits liability that can't lawfully be excluded, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
This license takes effect when you first access the Service and continues until terminated. It ends automatically if your account is closed or your subscription ends, and we may terminate it immediately if you breach Section 2. On termination, your right to access and use the Service ends, though sections of this Agreement that by their nature should survive (such as Ownership and Limitation of Liability) continue to apply.
We may update this Agreement from time to time, for example as the Service's features change. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above, and where appropriate let you know in the app.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute arising from it is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your own country of residence.
