Speak to Quote works for plumbers and heating engineers. Say the job standing in the airing cupboard — the boiler, the flue, the rads, the flush — and get back an editable, priced, VAT-aware quote with your Gas Safe number on it, ready to send before you've left the drive.
A boiler is the biggest thing most people buy for their house after the house. They have been told what to check before they say yes, and a quote that already answers it is the one that gets accepted.
Gas Safe registration is a legal requirement for gas work in the UK, and customers are told to check the register and ask for the card. Put the number in the header. For oil it is OFTEC; for unvented cylinders, your G3 qualification; for water-regulations work, WaterSafe — whichever applies to the job, name it.
A boiler installation ends with the Benchmark checklist completed in the log book and the work notified to building control — the manufacturer's warranty usually depends on the first, and the customer's compliance certificate on the second. Say so on the quote; it is the line that separates you from the cheapest number.
The boiler, the flue, the filter, the flush and each radiator are separate lines. A customer can see what the power flush costs and decide, rather than asking you to re-quote without it.
If you are VAT-registered, the VAT line and the rate; if not, a line that says so. On a four-figure job the difference is not a rounding error.
Boiler prices change with the manufacturer's list. Thirty days is common; whatever you choose, print it.
A deposit that covers the boiler, the balance on commissioning; and that making good, tiling and decoration are excluded unless a line says otherwise.
A boiler swap with the extras that usually come with one, said once, into a phone. The prices are illustrative — yours come from your own price book, or from what you say.

Every line is what you said, with the quantity picked out and the commissioning where it belongs, on the boiler line. Nothing on it was invented: a line whose price is not in your price book comes back at £0 for you to fill in, never with a made-up figure. Edit any line, take one off, add one, then send.
Set your trade to plumber or heating engineer in Business details and the extraction is worded for it — a "thermostatic valve" is a line item with a quantity, "on the return" is a description, and "Benchmark on completion" lands on the boiler line rather than as a line of its own.
Your registrations go in the header. Gas Safe, OFTEC, WaterSafe — add each as a label and a number, and it prints under your company name on every quote and estimate, with the scheme badges along the bottom if you upload them.
Your prices are yours. Put "Power flush — full system" in the price book once and every dictated flush comes back priced. Save a boiler swap as a job template and it is one tap, or just say "the combi swap package, plus a filter".
On Pro, the plan does the counting. Attach the floor plan or heating layout and the AI counts the radiators and reads the runs off the drawing; the prices still come from your book.
Not sure until you have seen the system? Build it as an estimate. It is labelled as one, the footer says the final price may vary, and it turns into a firm quote in one tap once you have been round.
